General Contractors

The Contractors Scheme is written on a Wageroll basis and can also be extended to include Contingency cover for Bona-Fide Sub Contractors.

Cover includes Employers Liability £10,000,000 & Public Liability £1,000,000 as standard. We appreciate that at certain times of the year, the work undertaken by larger contractors can vary, so this Scheme is flexible to cater for any fluctuations in the amount of work carried out.

Quotes can be otained for contractors with wagerolls in excess of £5,000,000, which means the Scheme can also accomodate larger contractors. All quotes are offered with standard terms and conditions although "extras" can be discussed with our insurers, especially for the larger contractors.

General Tradesmen

This is a Per Capita Tradesmen Scheme and is available for businesses with a turnover of less than £650,000.

The Scheme can cater for self-employed persons and also businesses with up to 10 manual employees. The maximum number of 10 manual employees does not include clerical employees, therefore if a business has 10 manual employees and 2 clerical employees it is still suitable for this Scheme.

Cover is available for a wide range of trades and automatically includes cover for temporary staff up to 50 man days in any period of insurance.

This Tradesmen Sheme provides Public Liability cover as standard and has a wide range of optional extras available to enable you to tailor cover according to your particular needs. Optional extensions include:

• Public Liability up to £5,000,000
• Employers Liability
• Own plant, tools and equipment
• Hired-in Plant
• Contract Works
• Personal Accident

Cleaning Contractors

This scheme has been available for over a decade & the insurers have extensive knowledge & experience in this sector. In February 2005 the market saw the first ever "tailor made" Cleaning Contractors Scheme available on-line. The Scheme is simply rated on Annual Turnover derived from different types of cleaning activities.

The Scheme caters for small, medium and large Cleaning Contractors covering turnovers in excess of £10,000,000. All quotes are offered with standard terms and conditions, although "extras" can be discussed with our insurers, especially for the larger contractors.
